Amsterdam Science Talent Scholarship (ASTS)

The new Amsterdam Science Talent Scholarship (ASTS) offered by the Faculty of Science of the University of Amsterdam is aimed at talented students from the Netherlands and the European Economic Area. It is a full scholarship of €10,000 per year, for a maximum of two academic years. It covers tuition fees and part of living expenses.

Talented chemistry students following the Master's program 'Sustainability - the Molecular Approach' are eligible for the scholarship. One of the criteria is a grade point average (GPA) corresponding to the top 10% of students from your graduating class.

 

Besides the scholarships, there is a unique feature in this Master programme: For the most excellent students this Master is aimed to lead to a PhD appointment within the HRSMC, during which you perform the research plans described in your own proposal!
